We are currently seeking a Ductile Iron Fabricator to join our team. You must know machinery, welding, and testing procedures. Since these items are often used in production, you must be able to read technical drawings and ensure each project is completed correctly. Applicants should have at least 5 years of experience fabricating ductile iron spools, wall pipes, etc., and a strong work ethic.

All applicants must also be able to pass a drug screening. Depending on the individual, this could lead to the shop manager’s role.

The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and a team leader. Must be able to carry out company policies and safety procedures.

Responsibilities/Requirements/

Qualifications:

• Marking, measuring, and cutting ductile iron pipes.
• Welding collars, weld-olets on ductile.
• Testing piping systems for leaks.
• Troubleshoot issues with fabrication or equipment
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines

• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of piping systems.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques or knowledge to train
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Knowledge of materials and tools used in pipe fabrication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods
