Overview
Liquid Environmental Solutions is a leading provider of environmentally responsible services for the removal of non-hazardous liquid waste. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Plumber III (Master Plumber). The Plumber I (Apprentice Plumber) assists with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This is a hands-on learning opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in the plumbing industry.
Location: Hueytown, AL
Responsibilities- Assist in installing and repairing pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment.
- Measure, cut, and assemble plumbing system components using hand and power tools.
- Help diagnose plumbing issues and determine appropriate solutions.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow safety procedures and local plumbing codes.
- Clean and prepare job sites before and after work.
- Support licensed plumbers with inspections and testing of systems.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
- Operate company vehicle following company safety policies.
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- Apprentice plumbing card (or greater).
- Driver's license and 1-year minimum driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR review prior to hire).
- Basic understanding of plumbing systems and tools (a plus).
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy materials.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) and International Plumbing Code (IPC) are a plus.
- Knowledge of the local jurisdictional plumbing code (required).
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- Apprentice plumbing card (or greater).
- Driver's license and 1-year minimum driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR review prior to hire).
- Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- May involve standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Use of protective gear such as gloves, goggles, and hard hats may be required.
Successful Plumber I (Apprentice Plumbers) may advance to Plumber II (Journeyman Plumbers) and eventually Plumber III (Master Plumbers) with experience and certification.
