Location: Bessemer, AL

Pay: $28-35/HR

Scope of Work:

• Plant/Industrial environment
• Manage a team of internal employees such as installers and service technicians throughout the life cycle of the project; make decisions that are best for the project.
• Ensure materials from home base and vendors are there on time and efficiently.
• Create schedules for internal team and outside resources.
• Attend Fire Marshall inspections on the job sites.
• Implement leadership and mentor everyone on site to help the project move smoothly.
• Be part of and conduct weekly meetings with leadership team, shareholders, sub contractors, and technicians.
• Assist project managers when needed.

What we’re Looking For:

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Applicable state journeyman license is required.
• OSHA-30 is highly desired.
• NICET II is desired.
• Must have minimum 3 years’ experience managing fire sprinkler crews.
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing, pipe fitting, and general construction is required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic designs.
• Understanding of construction equipment, including safe operating practices and signs of maintenance issues.
• Good planning skills including design execution, resource allocation and contingencies.
• In-depth understanding of local, state, and federal construction regulations.
• Superior knowledge in NFPA 13 codes.
• Great problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Organizational skills including time management, delegation, prioritization, and multitasking.
