Automotive Parts Shipping Associate

Automation Personnel Services is seeking dependable and hardworking Automotive Parts Shipping Associate to join a client’s Shipping team in Bessemer, AL. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of clutch components, drive train systems, and automotive racing parts and will be responsible for accurately picking, packaging, and shipping products to customers. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment, and the capability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay Rate $18.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours 7:30am – 4:00pm Monday through Friday

• Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders.
• Verify product numbers, quantities, and shipping information before shipment.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness within the shipping and warehouse areas.
• Inspect products for accuracy and quality before packaging.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and inventory control as needed.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and follow company procedures.
• Work closely with the sales and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.

• Knowledge of clutch components, drive train systems, and automotive parts required.
• Previous shipping, warehouse, or automotive parts experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and identify part numbers and product descriptions.
• Basic computer skills for shipping and inventory systems.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.

Job Type Full-time, temporary to hire
