– Job Description
Responsibilities   Contribute to the design of innovative solutions for complex service challenges by participating in technology studies and applying service innovation principles under limited supervision.
Review multidisciplinary change projects, prototypes, and test designs, collaborating with cross‑functional experts to ensure effective implementation.
Assess the serviceability of newly designed products against defined requirements and provide recommendations to improve component serviceability.
Support the development of test strategies and test cases for verification and validation of service functionalities and overall product serviceability.
Act as a subject‑matter expert in specific service innovation domains, providing guidance, sharing knowledge, and supporting informed decision‑making.
Drive the implementation and adoption of service innovation methods and procedures to enhance service delivery and continuous improvement.
Evaluate the feasibility and business impact of service innovation initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and value creation.
Implement proactive alert systems for connected installed bases to enable preventative service, reduce downtime, and improve performance.
Resolve a broad range of service innovation issues creatively, using sound judgment in selecting appropriate methods and solutions.
Build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, and contribute to project outcomes through effective collaboration and domain expertise.
Qualifications   HBO degree in a technical field (e.g., Mechanics, Electronics, Biomedical).
3–5 years of relevant experience.
Strong communication skills in English and Dutch (written and spoken).
Experience in Customer Service / Service organisations and cross‑functional environments.
Exposure to R&D or high‑tech environments, with familiarity in technical documentation and tools.
Understanding of medical device regulations and Lean / continuous improvement principles.
Project management experience (or strong involvement in projects), including NPI environments.
Proven ability to work in multinational settings, preferably healthcare/customer services.
Team player with a proactive, results‑driven “can‑do” mindset.
Flexible, resilient, and able to manage pressure.
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, using data‑driven arguments.
Reliable in delivering commitments and achieving targets.
Able to understand product strategy, roadmap trade‑offs, and portfolio dynamics.
