Customer Service Associate - Temporary Base Pay Range

$15.00/hr - $17.50/hr

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on assigned cash register, provide customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, resolving customer issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Model and share customer service best practices with all team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
• Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommend items for sale to customer and trade-up/companion items.
• Register customer purchases, process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
• Keep counters and shelves clean, well merchandised; inventory and record maintenance.
• Check in and price merchandise as required.
• Implement company asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise.
• Assist with separation of food items, stock rotation using FIFO, assist in restock outs.
• Have working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service and poster printing.
• Assume web pick‑up responsibilities (monitor orders, pick items, deliver orders).
• Assist with exterior and interior store maintenance.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.

• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• Six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens.

Salary range: $15 - $17.5 / Hourly. Actual compensation will depend on geography, skills, experience, etc.
