Business Unit

This is an exciting opportunity for recent college leavers to join Metrea’s Graduate Finance program in a full time, permanent role. Starting in our Accounts Payable team for the first 12 months; candidates will be seconded into different finance functions such as General Accounting, Project Accounting, FP&A, Investment and Treasury in order to develop the skills and experience required to progress their career within Metrea.

Role & Responsibilities

The rotational nature of the role will allow the joiner to have different roles and responsibilities over a period of 12-24 months, depending on the specific secondment areas. During the rotational period the candidate will:

  • Become familiar with all Metrea finance systems, software and tooling
  • Develop skills and understanding of different finance capabilities areas
  • Develop solid understanding of Metrea’s corporate structure, business units and capabilities
  • Shadow, assist and contribute to assigned tasks and projects
  • Assist with special analytical projects as directed by management
  • At the end of the rotational program, the candidate will formally join the team in FIN that is mutually deemed to be the perfect fit for their skills and personal career objectives
Skills & Experience

  • Education:

    Undergraduate Degree or relevant certifications.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite Programs.
  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter with attention to detail and deadline oriented.
  • Must possess the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
  • Must possess a well-rounded technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem resolution skills, able to operate with minimal supervision and self-motivated when given new assignments.
  • Discretion and confidentiality are required at all times.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs.
