This full-time Registered Nurse (RN) position at Mercy Hospital Kingfisher is your opportunity to provide and coordinate exceptional patient care on our med-surg unit. Our focus is on restoring patient independence post-hospitalization, and we need passionate individuals like you to help us achieve this mission!

As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will:

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Maintain professional accountability for the care of your assigned patients.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other team members.
• Coordinate patient care in collaboration with various departments.
• Uphold patient rights and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
• Perform your duties in alignment with our mission, values, and service standards.

We are a 25-bed swing-bed/med-surg unit dedicated to helping patients regain their highest level of independence before returning home. Our multi-disciplinary team is committed to delivering personalized healthcare to the rural community of Kingfisher, Oklahoma.

• New Graduates: $10,000
• Experienced RNs (1+ years): $20,000

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• Education: A degree from an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: A current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure, meeting all state board requirements.
• Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
  • Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire. Additional certifications may be required based on your unit.
