Bethany Centennial Animal Hospital is Hiring a Part-Time Veterinary Technician!

Position Details
Role: Veterinary Technician
Status: Part-time
Compensation: A flexible approach to compensation that reflects your skill set and future performance
Schedule: Flexible Tuesday through Friday, possible 1-3 days per week
Experience: Veterinary technician experience required; priority will be given to Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) candidates

What You’ll Do

  • Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and medical procedures
  • Provide skilled surgical assistance and patient support
  • Prepare patients, equipment, and treatment areas for procedures
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after treatments and procedures
  • Monitor and maintain anesthetized patients with close attention to patient safety
  • Perform laboratory procedures and assist with diagnostic testing
  • Assist with radiology and diagnostic imaging
  • Perform pharmacy duties and support accurate medication preparation and dispensing
  • Provide compassionate nursing care to hospitalized and outpatient patients
  • Safely and compassionately handle and restrain patients
  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely medical records
