Kitchen Staff

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic kitchen staff member to join our team at ELEM-HS team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while contributing to the overall success of our culinary operations.

Hours will be 6:00AM-1:30PM Monday through Friday.

• - Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards.
• - Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards for taste and presentation.
• - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including all cooking and storage areas.
• - Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
• - Monitor and manage inventory of kitchen supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
• - Assist in the training of new kitchen staff as needed.
• - Participate in kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, special events, and any operational issues.
• - Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or head chef.

• - Must have the ability to learn a register.
• - High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• - Previous experience in a kitchen environment is a plus, but not required.
• - Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• - Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• - Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
• - Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• - Food handler's certification is preferred, or the willingness to obtain one.
