What You’ll Do:
- Cut, fill, and assemble various cakes, including customer-ordered, round-layer, sheet, novelty, no-cut, and wedding cakes.
- Ice cakes for orders and store inventory.
What We’re Looking For:
- A passion for baking and creating high-quality baked goods.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with co-workers.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Baking/Pastry Arts degree, plus 1-3 years of previous bakery experience preferred, but not necessary. We are willing to train!
- Ability to stand and actively move throughout your shift, lift and carry trays weighing up to 50 pounds, and frequent use of large and small pastry bags, requiring sustained and repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions
- Comfortable working around varying temperatures, including heat from ovens and cold from coolers/freezers.
Schedule:
- Part-time; 32 hours/week (Monday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday from 8 a.m.
-4 p.m.) - Competitive pay: $15/hour
