The City of Bethel seeks a certified Police Officer to serve as School Resource Officer (SRO). The role supports safe schools, builds positive relations with youth, and mentors students while addressing school-related law-enforcement matters.
In collaboration with the Police Department, Fire Department, and the Lower Kuskokwim School District, the SRO develops youth programs and coordinates cadet activities to promote public safety. Alaska certifications are required or eligible.
