Public Health RN – Well Child

Total Compensation: $40.53–$42.62/hour*

Coordinate well-child and immunization services, infectious-disease screening and public-health follow-up. Travel to villages, educate patients and guide community health aides.

• Day shift with village travel; final weekly roster confirmed before acceptance.
• The advertised hourly equivalent uses a 40-hour planning week. The source lists 32 guaranteed hours, subject to assignment terms; the first orientation week may have fewer hours.

• Facility housing provides one private bedroom for a single individual, with shared common areas in same-gender units. No lodging stipend is included.

• Current Alaska RN license, nursing diploma or associate degree, and BLS.
• Two years of nursing or public health experience, or facility-accepted equivalent advanced education.
• Pediatric knowledge and experience required; ACLS and PALS recommended.
• Teaching and cross-cultural experience preferred.

Taxable W-2 hourly pay: $20.00–$22.09. Separate eligible meal and incidental reimbursement: $821.39 per week. Medical, dental and vision benefits are available.
