We’re seeking a Design Engineer II to support the design and development of new products and systems in a collaborative engineering environment. This role is ideal for a mid-level engineer who enjoys hands‑on design work, analysis, and working closely with manufacturing and quality teams to bring products from concept through production.
Work ModelOnsite only (after ~6 months, a hybrid schedule may be discussed; no remote).
What You’ll Do- Lead and support the design and development of new products or systems from concept to production
- Create detailed CAD models and drawings for components and assemblies
- Perform engineering analysis
, including FEA, tolerance analysis, and simulations - Collaborate with product management, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure design requirements are met
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians
- Troubleshoot and resolve design issues through iterative testing and analysis
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to design quality and manufacturability
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 3–6 years of experience in product design, engineering, or a similar role
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (Solid Works, AutoCAD, Creo, or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of engineering principles and design fundamentals
- Hands‑on experience with engineering analysis tools and techniques
- Strong problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional team environment
- Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Experience with PLM systems
- Familiarity with DFM/DFA principles
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
- Experience with rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing
- Hands‑on, impactful design work in a production‑oriented environment
- Clear, stable schedule with no overtime requirement
- Opportunity for contract extension based on performance
- Exposure to the full product lifecycle from concept through manufacturing
