** Senior Quality Engineer
**** Bethel, CT
**** 1 Year Contract
** The
** Senior Quality Engineer
** will support the production of precision pressure sensors used in commercial, military, and space applications. This is a hands-on quality role supporting the full manufacturing lifecycle, including supplier quality, production, testing, final acceptance, corrective actions, customer support, and regulatory compliance.
** Senior Quality Engineer Responsibilities:
*** Develop and maintain quality standards, inspection methods, testing procedures, and quality systems.
* Partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and production teams to resolve quality issues.
* Lead root-cause analysis, corrective actions, nonconformance investigations, and continuous-improvement efforts.
* Support supplier quality activities, including purchase-order review, supplier corrective actions, and nonconforming material resolution.
* Participate in MRB activities and help determine disposition of discrepant material.
* Review technical data, drawings, specifications, test results, and quality documentation.
* Support internal audits, product audits, customer audits, and quality reviews.
* Serve as a quality contact for customers, suppliers, and government agencies, including the FAA and DCMA.
* Develop quality-related training materials and provide guidance to inspection and production personnel.
** Senior Quality Engineer
Qualifications:
*** Bachelor's degree required;
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
* At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, engineering, technical, or quality role.
* Experience with quality systems, inspection/testing, measurement systems, root-cause analysis, corrective action, and nonconforming material.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
* Aerospace, defense, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing experience preferred.
* Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and meet ITAR requirements.
