Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Bethesda, MD

Base Pay Range: $60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

The Accounts Payable Specialist will support day-to-day accounts payable operations and ensure timely, accurate processing of vendor invoices. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall accounting function through strong attention to detail and organization. This position is fully onsite.

• Process and review vendor invoices, expense reports, and supporting documentation for accuracy and proper coding.
• Assist with invoice approvals, reconciliations, and resolution of vendor inquiries or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and support month-end close activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable accounting standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support efficient and timely payment processes.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in accounts payable or general accounting support.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel; strong communication skills.
