We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support full-cycle AP operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to work independently in a high-volume environment.
Responsibilities- Process invoices, ensuring accurate coding and appropriate approvals.
- Prepare payments and maintain supporting documentation.
- Review and reconcile employee expense reports.
- Match invoices to purchase orders when applicable.
- Assist with 1099 preparation and reporting.
- Prepare journal entries and post transactions to the general ledger.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and reconcile vendor statements.
- Create and update vendor records.
- Ensure invoices are assigned to the appropriate business entity.
- Previous full-cycle accounts payable experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Experience using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
