DESCRIPTION
Become a key member of a small team and play an integral role in providing outstanding customer service to the Property Management Association. Primary responsibilities include:
- Maintain the overall integrity of the membership database(s) (completeness and accuracy of information).
- Provide administrative support related to processing event reservations, booth and sponsorship sales, awards nominations and certification testing.
- In collaboration with senior staff, assist in the promotion of and communication about association membership, events, programs and other offerings.
- Maintain web content and monitor site(s) to ensure all content is up to date and relevant.
- Develop and distribute marketing email messages.
- Use social media channels to promote membership, events, programs and other offerings.
- Provide administrative support related to execution of a variety of conferences, meetings and/or special events.
- Fulfill ad hoc event, program and communication support as requested.
REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work in-person two to three days per week in Bethesda, MD.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and balance competing priorities; experience in planning and/or executing multi-step projects and reaching milestones on time without sacrificing accuracy and quality.
- Ability to think strategically, anticipating future developments and planning accordingly; proactively identifying issues and generating recommendations.
- Takes initiative, demonstrates creativity, personable and has a high level of professionalism
- Excellent computer knowledge. Proficient in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), MS SharePoint and ability to learn new software programs. Experience with an AMS and/or CRM database highly preferred.
- Familiarity with business applications for social media.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort working independently, as well as part of a team; proactively collaborate with staff, members and other stakeholders on relevant projects.
