Summary:
As an Account Executive supporting Mid Market segments, you will assist consultants in managing client accounts by researching, analyzing, and evaluating benefits plans including medical, dental, life, and disability insurance. This role requires independent thinking, project management skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Data entry and analysis using Excel for client projects, including reviewing work of junior analysts.
• Gathering and interpreting benchmarking, utilization, or rate data from vendors via RFPs, and presenting findings.
• Consolidating plan design data from clients and vendors, ensuring data accuracy.
• For experience-rated clients, preparing cost projections and renewal evaluations.
• Tracking claims experience, analyzing healthcare costs, and reporting to clients periodically.
• Understanding health and benefits products, markets, and tools through training and collaboration.
• Managing projects and developing client communications, including benchmarking reports comparing client plans to industry data.
Requirements:
• BA/BS degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Life & Health License required.
