general summary
receives, records and distributes work orders to service crews upon customers’ request for service on articles or utilities purchased from wholesale or retail establishments or utility company.
- answers all incoming calls and keeps proper record of date and time received.
- records information, such as name, address, or service to be rendered from customer.
- records information such as name, supervisor, time of call out in accordance with callout guidelines, and assigned shift for employees calling out.
- sends timely formal communication to management team of call outs.
- assists managers with scheduling special projects requested by customer.
- assists project manager with calls or writing the customer to insure satisfactory performance of service.
- keeps record of service calls and and closes out work orders in government database.
- may dispatch orders and relay messages and special instructions to employees and other departments, using radio telephone equipment.
- other duties as assigned.

- minimum of one (1) year experience in a dispatch or similar customer service center position.
- strong written and oral communication skills in english.
- highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction and passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers.
- strong decision making and analytical skills.
- strong work ethic and team player mentality.
- be able to sit for extended period of time.
- be able to lift 25 lbs.
- must be able to pass a local background check and have the ability to obtain and maintain nac/lac clearance after hire.
