Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Body Imaging Radiologist to support the NIH Clinical Center, the nation’s premier biomedical research hospital. The Radiologist will primarily focus on X-ray (XR), Ultrasound (US), and general body imaging studies for NIH investigators, clinical teams, and research protocols. This role offers the unique opportunity to practice in a world-class research environment and contribute to groundbreaking clinical studies.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret X-ray, Ultrasound, and general Body Imaging studies.
- Provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports for clinical and research needs.
- Collaborate with NIH physicians, investigators, and research staff.
- Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Communicate findings clearly to clinical teams.
- Provide guidance to trainees and fellows as needed.
- Support imaging research protocols and NIH documentation requirements.
- Maintain compliance with NIH imaging standards and safety guidelines.
Required:
- MD or DO degree.
- Completed ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency.
- Fellowship in Body Imaging or Abdominal Imaging preferred.
- A Board Certified or Board Eligible.
