Club Z! Tutoring is seeking In-Person Private Tutors to support our Middle School Students in the greater Bethesda, Potomac, Rockville, and Silver Spring, Maryland areas.

Are you passionate about helping middle school students overcome academic challenges and build confidence? Club Z! Tutoring of Bethesda is seeking exceptional educators to provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring in the greater Bethesda, Potomac, and Silver Spring, Maryland area.

*** This is for private in-person tutoring located in Montgomery County, MD. Applicants must live in the Greater Bethesda, Potomac, Kensington, Chevy Chase, Rockville, or Silver Spring, MD areas. This is not a virtual tutoring position! ***

• Provide individualized tutoring for grades 6-8 in core subjects
• Help students develop executive functioning and study skills
• Support homework completion and test preparation
• Build student confidence and academic independence
• Maintain regular communication with parents and our office about student progress

• Math: Pre-algebra, algebra concepts, geometry foundations
• English/Language Arts: Reading comprehension, writing skills, grammar
• Study Skills & Executive Functioning: Organization, time management, note-taking
• Science: Life science, earth science, physical science
• Test Prep: MCAP preparation, study strategies

• Competitive Pay: $31-33/hour to start

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a subject-related field
• 2+ years teaching or tutoring experience
• Experience with middle school curriculum and development
• Strong communication skills with students and parents
• Reliable transportation (for in-person sessions)
• Background check clearance

Preferred:

• MCPS teaching experience
• Special education or 504/IEP experience
• Executive functioning coaching experience
