C ACI at Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is looking for a Data Scientist to expand maintenance detection algorithms for Boeing F/A-18 aircrafts. Your expertise will enhance the Navy's F/A-18 fleet readiness by developing case studies and anomaly detection algorithms for aircraft maintenance action Responsibilities:
* Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various aircraft sensors, maintenance logs, and operational data.

* Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following best practices and coding standards to ensure maintainability and long-term performance of applications.

* Preform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in aircraft performance and maintenance data.

* Design and implement anomaly detection algorithms to identify unusual behaviors in aircraft data.

* Collaborate with Aerospace Engineers, Software Engineers, Maintenance Personnel, and other project stakeholders

Qualifications:

Required:

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Science.

* 0-2 years of job experience.

* Strong knowledge of MATLAB and Python.

* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

* Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance.

* US Citizenship. Desired:
* Experience with Power

BI and SQL.
