System Engineer Security Clearance

Position: System Engineer with Security Clearance
Overview Silver Edge is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to design, develop, and evaluate end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire lifecycle. This role requires a holistic approach to system design, ensuring compliance with client requirements and government standards, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions that meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
* Use a holistic approach to design, develop, evaluate, and modify systems and products throughout their lifecycle.
* Generate and document quantifiable requirements based on customer descriptions, system planning, design, and acquisition logistics.
* Verify that requirements meet client needs and comply with government standards through formal verification methods.
* Translate high-level product development strategies into detailed system requirement specifications.
* Collaborate with engineering disciplines to develop lower-level implementation requirements.
* Establish and coordinate standards, practices, and procedures for overall product development.
* Design system interfaces and integrate system elements to ensure cohesive operation.
* Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
* Act as a liaison for customer support and business development activities to shape and understand requirements.
* Participate in conceptual design and document design concepts.
* Conduct design reviews of hardware and software components to ensure compliance and traceability of requirements.
* Generate system-level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures.
* Review test plans and procedures to meet contractual requirements and participate in the testing process to validate requirements.

Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience, Master's degree with 6 years of experience, or PhD with 3 years of experience.
* Active TS/SCI clearance.
* IAT Level II Certification.
* Experience in reverse engineering existing deployments. Desired Qualifications
* IAT Level III Certification.
* Scripting experience in Power Shell, JAVA, or similar languages.
