Infrared Electro-Optics Test Engineer

Advanced Technology & Research Corporation () is seeking to fill the following full-time permanent position. The successful applicant will join ATR s Engineering Services Division, working as a team member at our government client site involved in execution of the emergent Infrared and Electro Optics (IREO) technology for the Navy. Other duties include, but are not limited to:

• Perform IR/EO test planning and execution
• Perform IR/EO, data acquisition, data QA, and data processing
• Perform IR/EO and data analysis and generate technical reports
• Support equipment/instrumentation maintenance and operational checkout

• Minimum bachelor s degree in electrical, mechanical engineering, or physics
• Advanced degree is preferred
• 2-3 years of technically relevant experience preferred
• Job experience with the Navy or other DoD laboratories is a plus

• Strong capabilities in data acquisition and data processing
• Ability to perform image processing or code development
• Background in electromagnetics or wave propagation theory
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
• Ability to travel and support physical activities

• Candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance or favorable adjudication of a national security background investigation. Current completion of a successful background investigation is a plus
