Heller Psychology Group is a boutique practice in Bethesda, Maryland, offering services in person and via telehealth across Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C. and beyond. The practice focuses on providing psychotherapy, ADHD/executive function coaching and tutoring, as well as psycho educational testing services (i.e., for ADHD, learning disabilities) to help individuals thrive and improve their well-being. The practice serves children, teens, and adults.

Role Description

This is a part‑time hybrid role (virtual with some in‑person work) for a licensed psychologist, social worker, or other independently licensed mental health professional at Heller Psychology Group. The role involves providing psychotherapy to children, teens, and/or adults.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
• Licensed in Maryland
• Reside in Maryland (or licensing laws in state of residence allow for telehealth services for clients physically located in Maryland)
• Prior experience conducting psychotherapy.
• Organized and efficient for navigating minimal case management related items (i.e., responding to appointment requests from clients, completing progress notes).
• Availability to work at least two to three days per week between about 4:30 PM and 7:30 PM

This is an excellent opportunity for a newer graduate to get experience with private practice, build a caseload (with the potential for full‑time work if desired), develop/expand upon an area of specialization, and collaborate with colleagues, all within the framework of an established practice. Mentorship, peer consultation, and other supports would be included as needed/desired. This would also be a great option for a professional who has been in the field for a while and is looking to branch out into private practice part‑time.
