Cyber Security SME (Lead) – Ana Vation LLC, Bethesda, MD

Ana Vation seeks a subject‑matter expert to lead the enterprise security defense and monitoring of critical information technology services across multiple domains and platforms. The role strengthens the defensive posture and cyber defense operational readiness to protect against external attacks and insider threats.

• Respond to alerts from HBSS, administer security IPS/IDS tools, and address triggers and events from SIEM systems.
• Lead incident response events, generate reports on network security status and threat activity.
• Enhance defensive posture and cyber defense readiness to protect customer data, systems, and networks.

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph.
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
• Minimum 7 years related professional experience; 5+ years in CND and incident response.
• Experience managing IPS/IDS tools, conducting ACAS scans, and responding to SIEM alerts.
• Skilled in Tableau for data rendering and security posture reporting.

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph.
• MS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 10+ years professional experience; 7+ years in CND, risk management, and continuous security tool management.
• Experience in cyber‑attack analysis, Battle Damage Assessments, and insider threat mitigation.
