Enterprise Architect / Systems Engineer –

Overview

TUNUVA Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of VTG, is seeking an experienced, results oriented Information Technology (IT) Enterprise Architect or Systems Engineer to join our team in the Bethesda, Maryland area. You will play a critical role in documenting and shaping our client's IT enterprise architecture, ensuring alignment with the client’s vision of driving interoperability across organizations.

What will you do?

• Develop an IT enterprise architecture that provides client stakeholders awareness of critical capabilities, dependencies, and mission critical impacts and risks. This includes developing the:
  • Enterprise Architecture Baseline – discover and capture the “as‑is” state of the client’s IT enterprise as it exists across multiple organizations throughout the enterprise.
  • Enterprise Architecture Future State – work in alignment with the client’s vision to capture the “to be” state of the client’s IT enterprise.
  • Enterprise Architecture Transition Plan – create the guidance and architecture artifacts to incrementally transition the client’s enterprise architecture from the as‑is state to the future state.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including content providers, content consumers, developers, engineers, and business analysts.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
• BS degree and 12–15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10–13 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in a technical domain. Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, Systems Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., UAF, TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF).
• Familiarity with Systems Modeling Language (SysML) or Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Model‑Based Systems Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience working with or in the Intelligence Community (IC).
• Experience with Model‑Based Systems Engineering tools (e.g., Magic Draw, Rational Rhapsody, Cameo, Genesys, etc.).

Pay Range

VTG’s estimated starting pay range is $190,000–$200,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
