About the Role
As a CBRE Property Management Manager, you will supervise a team that manages all operational and financial activities for a single property or a small portfolio. The role is part of the Property Management function, operating buildings on behalf of clients or groups.
What You’ll Do- Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and mentor staff.
- Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, including scheduling, task assignment, and cross‑training.
- Respond to tenant needs and issues promptly.
- Act as the primary contact for property owners, serving as a representative to ensure objectives are met; prepare and deliver timely, accurate reports.
- Develop and control annual operating and capital budgets, forecast management plans, and prepare monthly performance reports that explain variances.
- Help develop programs to assist the property with emergency recoveries.
- Prepare all required legal notices for approval.
- Review tenant rent and common area maintenance recovery charges to ensure timely payment.
- Lead by example, model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, and influence parties toward agreement.
- Apply knowledge of the field and its integration with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day‑to‑day and moderately complex issues that may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
To perform this job successfully, you must:
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 3–5 years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of experience and education).
- Be able to exchange sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and balance problems.
- Possess leadership skills to motivate the team and impact quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Have in‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Exhibit extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mentality.
