Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring moderate sedation, current IR experience, and a valid MD or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Work in an Interventional Radiology department focusing on vascular and image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Provides care for patients with cancer, pain, diabetes, liver, kidney, and other medical conditions
- Ten-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with start times typically between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM
- Rotating day off with no block scheduling
- Call required: 3 to 4 shifts in a 6-week period, including weekday, weekend, and holiday coverage
- Epic Radiant EMR use is preferred
- Perform minimally invasive, image-guided procedures in nearly every organ system
- Work emphasizes least invasive techniques to improve patient outcomes and minimize risks
- Critical Care Certification and trauma course completion are preferred qualifications

- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a strong ICU setting
- Current interventional radiology experience required
- Experience with moderate sedation required
- Experience in hospitals with 500+ beds
