As a Security Officer - Hotel Patrol - Morning Shift in Bethesda, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a hotel and resort environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity to support a secure and comfortable location for all.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests and staff by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the hotel and resort environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter, adapting to the unique conditions of the hotel and resort location.
• Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activity and address any security-related incidents that may arise.
• Maintain detailed records of observations, incidents, and activities during each shift.
• Collaborate with hotel staff and management to support a welcoming and secure environment for all guests and employees.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
