• Perform unarmed security duties depending on the post.
• Patrol and monitor exterior and community areas on‑premises.
• Control access to entrances and exits and ensure safe departure of employees and visitors.
• Monitor surveillance cameras for disruptions or unlawful activities.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Understand, explain, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, directives, and procedures per contract.
• Provide detailed reports on daily activities and incidents.
• Use provided communication devices (e.g., two‑way radios) clearly and concisely.
• Perform CPR or first aid when needed.
• Maintain credentials per contract requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Project Manager.

• High school diploma, a General Education Degree (GED) recognized by the U.S.
• Associate’s Degree
• Two (2) years of verifiable experience as an unarmed security officer.
• Current and valid Maryland Unarmed Security Guard Card/permit.
• Knowledgeable of the security industry.
• Customer‑service‑driven mindset.
• Effective communication skills and ability to present information to all levels of internal and external customers/clients.

• MD Security Guard Certification Unarmed
• CPR / First Aid
