This Java Developer role with expertise in developing Mark Logic based applications provides Agile Dev Ops support to mission-critical systems. You will have the opportunity to build and maintain systems, software, and cloud environments, while providing operations and maintenance for critical systems. In this role, you will also design, develop, and implement applications utilizing Mark Logic databases with business logic written in XQuery.

Additionally, based on a Dev Ops framework, you will participate in and/or direct major deliverables of projects through all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including scope and work estimation, architecture and design, coding, and unit testing.

• Design and develop solutions integrating Mark Logic with existing enterprise platforms and systems.
• Develop XQuery, JavaScript, and REST modules on the Mark Logic technology stack.
• Develop Entity models and participate in software programming initiatives using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Angular, Python, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
• Develop and direct software system validation and testing methods using Junit and Katalon.
• Develop and integrate custom software solutions leveraging automated deployment technologies; while supporting the Agile software development lifecycle following Program SAFe practices.
• Analyze (proof of concept, performance, and end-to-end testing) and effectively coordinate Infrastructure needs driven by developed software to meet customer mission needs.
• Implement Mark Logic-based application processes to support Governance, Risk and Compliance initiatives.

• 7+ years of hands‑on application development utilizing the Mark Logic framework.
• Strong analytical and design skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into efficient and effective technical designs within large‑scale, well‑structured enterprise environments.
• Significant experience in the development of service‑oriented architecture applications.
• Good understanding of Object‑Oriented Design and Design Patterns.
• Significant experience implementing the Mark Logic java‑client‑api within an enterprise application.
• Strong knowledge of XQuery, FLWOR queries, JavaScript, Mark Logic, SPARQL, RDF data, XML Data, triple‑stores, XML Processing.
• In‑depth experience with Java and data processing, manipulation or querying (SQL and No
  
  SQL).
• Masters with 15 or more years of relevant experience or a PhD with 13 or more years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• TS/SCI with a polygraph is required for consideration.

• Experience developing in or deploying to AWS.
