CAD Designer

We are seeking a Drafter/Designer to support the design and manufacturing of turbo machinery components and assemblies. This position will work closely with Engineering, Shop, Purchasing, and Project Management to develop accurate CAD layouts, drawings, BOMs, and other engineering documentation. Responsibilities:

- Perform dimensional inspections and collect data for project layouts and designs.

- Create and maintain CAD layouts, 3D models, and engineering drawings.

- Develop BOMs and maintain drafting-related project information in the MRP system.

- Collaborate with Engineering, Shop, and Purchasing to ensure drawings are accurate and manufacturable.

- Provide mentorship and technical support to junior drafters and participate in customer site visits as needed - Must have 5+ years of mechanical design experience.

- Must have experience with NX/Teamcenter, Solid Works, or equivalent 3D CAD software.

- Must have experience with turbo machinery or related machined components.

- Must have experience using metrology scan data (Poly Works or similar) to create 3D models and manufacturing drawings.
