For more than 75 years, Rotoflow has specialized in the design and manufacture of standard and custom-engineered cryogenic and warm gas centrifugal turbo machinery serving industries including industrial gases, petrochemicals, and hydrocarbons. Our products include compressor-loaded turbo-expanders, generator-loaded power recovery expanders, and low-cost dissipative expanders.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform various turbo machinery design analyses for our most challenging projects and products including FEA (stress, deflection, and modal), hand calculations, and rotor dynamics,Contribute to establishing strategy for the future of our mechanical design systems and design processes and helping to direct strategy towards ensuring our designs cover a maximum range of applications for our products,Participate in the development of mechanical tools to improve the productivity and accuracy of analyses including collaboration with other engineers and 3rd party commercial software teams,Collaborate with product, proposals, and across engineering disciplines to promote the best solutions to fit the needs of our customers,Mentor, train, and develop less experienced engineering staff by sharing knowledge and best practices,Supervise the creation of work processes, procedures, guidelines, training packages, and standards and approve content related to turbo machinery mechanical design and analysis,Executing mechanical design tasks related to awarded projects and product development initiatives, development and execution of innovation projects, support of aftermarket activities and engineering tasks,Support root cause analyses (RCA) of equipment and field commissioning and start up activities executed by the Aftermarket Team,Drive engineering and material cost reductions and competitiveness across project and product offerings collaborating with stakeholders,Collaboration with customers to ensure proper design and integration of equipment into the process,Select components and materials for turbo machinery and systems,Perform safety and operability…
