OverviewSt. Joseph Hospital, located in Bethpage NY, is a not‑for‑profit full‑service 203‑bed community hospital. The Emergency Department serves over 34,000 patients a year. The hospital holds a Gold Plus Center designation for its Stroke Program and offers a range of services including the St. Francis Imaging Center, cardiac CT scanner, MRI, vascular laboratory, wound healing & hyperbaric medicine, sleep medicine, swallowing, speech & voice services, and comprehensive inpatient medical, critical‑care and surgical care.
Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining drug inventory, patient records, and filling intravenous antibiotics.
- Fill, troubleshoot and maintain the automated dispensing machine.
- Deliver medications and supplies to patient care and ancillary areas accurately per established schedule.
- Picks up orders, requisitions and medications for return from patient care areas during delivery rounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- NYS Pharmacy Technician registration.
- PTCB or NHA certification.
- Experience in an acute‑care facility pharmacy department strongly preferred.
USD $28.66 – $28.66 per hour.
This range serves as a good faith estimate; actual pay will depend on qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range does not include differential pay or other compensation or the value of benefits.
