As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage site entry, verify badges and credentials, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors while supporting a welcoming, orderly environment. Pay Rate: $17.96 / Hour

• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying visitor, employee, contractor, and delivery driver authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, vehicle, and delivery logs while directing authorized personnel to designated check-in areas.
• Observe inbound and outbound truck traffic, deliveries, and gate activity, reporting unauthorized access attempts, unusual activity, and policy violations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, production areas, and the perimeter, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
