OB Hospitalist opening in Iowa - Located in Bettendorf, IA - Quad Cities - Full-time, permanent position

Position Highlights:

Inpatient Care Focus:
Provide specialized inpatient care, with the opportunity to perform deliveries, manage labor patients, and assist outpatient physicians with C-sections.

Flexible Scheduling:
Full-time role with (7) 24-hour shifts per 4-week block, including dedicated administrative time to ensure a balanced workload and sufficient patient access.

Team Environment:
Join a cohesive group of supportive colleagues and staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who are deeply knowledgeable about the patients and community.

Integrated Care:
Utilize the EPIC EMR system for seamless communication and care coordination across clinics and hospitals.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and manage patients in the labor and delivery unit.

Perform deliveries, manage labor, and conduct C-sections.

Assist outpatient physicians with C-section procedures as needed.

Collaborate with a team to ensure high-quality care and make informed decisions regarding patient treatment plans.

Maintain a patient-centered approach, contributing positively to a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

MD or DO, board-eligible or board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in Iowa.

Current and unrestricted state and federal authorization to prescribe medications.

Eligible to work in the United States.
