For 2026-27 school year. Internal posting. Must be a teacher in good standing with the Bettendorf Community School District Must work in the building in which applying for a Student Success Team Position Elementary Student Success Team at Neil Armstrong Elementary Approximately 35 hours of work/meetings outside of contract time 3-year assignment with the option to reapply after the third year COMPENSATION : $1000 yearly stipend

The Student Success Team (SST) position is responsible for modeling the dispositions of a model educator: grit, resilience, flexibility, self-awareness, open-mindedness, vulnerability, willingness to try new things, reflectiveness, and professionalism. This position will collaborate with the team to create a data-based system to meet the individual needs of the school's most at-risk students.

1. Attend and actively participate in weekly SST meetings
2. Meet with teachers to gather more student information for the team
3. Analyze student data to determine the next steps
4. Assist in identifying students in need of supplemental or intensive interventions and supports
5. Assist in determining the specific learning needs of each student in need
6. Assist in determining the most appropriate intervention(s) to address the student's specific needs
7. Design and support the implementation of supplemental and intervention plans based on student's skill deficit
8. Frequently monitor student's progress monitoring data to determine if interventions are achieving the desired result
9. Assist in revising the student's intervention(s) when they are not achieving the desired outcome 10. Assist in ensuring that notes and information are disseminated to the needed staff

A. Must be a teacher in good standing with the Bettendorf Community School District

B. Must work in the building in which applying for a Student Success Team Position

C. Ability to collaborate with teachers and administrators.

D. Facilitation, organizational, and management skills.

E. Demonstrates the actions of a model educator: active collaboration, support of all students and colleagues, use of data to drive instructional decision-making, engagement in learning, communication with all stakeholders, and celebration of successes.

EVALUATION:
Employees holding this additional assignment will be evaluated at a minimum annually.
