American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift contract requiring cardiac experience and an IA or compact RN license.

• Medical IP unit within a regional hospital setting
• Cardiac drips used on unit include Heparin, Cardizem, Nitro, Non-DKA insulin, and Amiodarone
• Night shift schedule, 3x12s, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM with 1845 start time
• No on-call requirements
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active IA or compact RN license required (IL license accepted at time of offer)
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Cardiac experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• New grads accepted
• At least 1 completed travel contract preferred
• One supervisory reference required from within 2 years of employment/contract
• Must not have been a UnityPoint employee in the last 12 months

• Provide nursing care on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit managing cardiac drips and monitoring
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, verified by driver's license
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed
• First-time travelers and new grads are welcome to apply
• Past UnityPoint employees (FTE or PRN float pool) are restricted from travel assignments in other markets within Unity Point
