Tekla Draughtsman

Overview

Tekla Draughtsman – Steel Structures – East Yorkshire - Hybrid/Remote (Subject to Experience) – £40,000 – £50,000 – Full Time, Permanent.

We are working with a specialist steel and modular construction manufacturer delivering complex offsite and structural steel projects across multiple sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Tekla Draughtsman to join their design team, supporting the delivery of modular buildings and wall framing solutions.

• Produce accurate 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings using Tekla Structures.
• Generate GA drawings from architectural and engineering information for client approval.
• Create and issue detailed fabrication component drawings to the workshop once approved.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and internal manufacturing teams.
• Support BIM processes and ensure compliance with fabrication and welding standards.

• Minimum 5 years' Tekla Structures experience.
• Strong background in steel detailing and fabrication processes.
• Experience with modular, offsite, or structural steel projects.
• Knowledge of connections, erection methods, and steel systems.
• High attention to detail and strong project coordination skills.
• Software exposure such as AutoCAD, Revit, Solid Works or similar is beneficial.
