LA Tutors 123 is a premier, in-home and online, private tutoring service provider. Founded in 2007 by a team of educators with decades of experience, LA Tutors 123 was created with the vision of providing unparalleled one-on-one instruction. We’re seeking a patient, engaging English tutor to work one-on-one with an adult learner who is focused on improving practical, everyday and professional English.
This is an on-site role, five days per week in the early afternoon. You’ll design and deliver customized lessons that build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, with special attention to pronunciation, vocabulary, business, and real-world communication.

- Build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing; emphasize pronunciation, vocabulary, and real-world communication.
- Attend on-site sessions at the Beverly Hills location (as applicable) and adhere to scheduling requirements.
- Minimum of 3 years prior teaching/tutoring experience.
- Flexible schedule, particularly after 12 PM on weekdays.
- Experience creating lesson plans and managing tutoring timelines.
- Bachelor's degree or higher from a recognized university.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to the student's home.
- Positive, fun personality and strong interpersonal skills.
- Minimum 1-year commitment.
Currently, candidates who can come to our office in Beverly Hills are preferred.

The pay rate ranges from $50-$60/hr, depending on experience, qualifications, and program performance. Higher pay applies to tutors with credentials/certificates, advanced degrees, or more experience.
