What We Are Looking ForWe are searching for a dynamic Investment Associate to join our operations team. This role is focused on providing high-touch client service, developing and maintaining client relationships, and building financial models for existing and prospective clients.
In addition, as an Investment Associate you will:
- Support business development by preparing plan proposals and presentations for prospective clients
- Build financial models to analyze and forecast cash flows, portfolio projections, tax implications, etc.
- Prepare for and present in client review meetings
- Maintain CRM records and document meeting notes
- Lead or participate in cross-functional projects to improve processes and deliver client solutions
- Collaborate with advisory, trading and engineering teams on ad hoc initiatives
- Support account opening, money movement and other operational items as needed
This role is for someone who has genuine interest in working for a growing firm and wants to dive deep into the world of wealth management and investments.
- 3+ years of experience in banking, accounting, asset management or financial services company; general understanding of global markets and macroeconomics
- Candidates will be required to pass an Excel test during the interview process
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a concentration in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
- Computer Skills – expertise in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM, Bloomberg, Barclays and other data providers preferred
- Attention to detail and exceptional organization. This position requires considerable coordination and follow-up. Being proactive and meticulous when it comes to processes is critical.
- Ability to multi-task, work effectively in a team environment, take ownership of dedicated tasks, and look for ways to make current processes more efficient
- Professional attitude and strong written and verbal communication skills, as you will be working predominantly with high-net-worth clients and prospects
At CCA, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation. In accordance with CA law, we expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $90,000 to $110,000, plus an annual team performance bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, and other job-related factors.
