Join Cedars‑Sinai to provide specialty pharmacy services, ensuring timely access for high‑risk oncology patients.

As a full‑time Specialty Pharmacist at Cedars‑Sinai Medical Center, you will assist in clinical reviews of specialty prescriptions, conduct oncology prior authorizations and manage benefit investigations, support oncology workflows, collaborate with providers, and ensure timely access for high‑risk patients. Specialty Pharmacy operates Monday‑Friday.

• Education: Pharm.
  
  D. or equivalent degree from an accredited school of pharmacy;
• Residency: Completion of a PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency or equivalent practice experience;
• License: Current pharmacist licensure in the State of California;
• Experience: Specialty/Outpatient experience preferred; comprehensive knowledge of common disease states and pathologies; ability to understand patient medical management plans;
• Skills: Ability to apply pharmacological principles, extract patient information, communicate effectively, teach and serve as preceptor, prepare drugs for immediate administration, provide drug recommendations, monitor drug use, adapt to change, evaluate medication regimens, use automated information systems, perform pharmaceutical calculations, compounding and pharmacokinetics, possess computer skills;
• Other: Exceptions to be approved by the Chief Pharmacy Officer or designee.

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, occasional sitting; pushing and pulling; lifting up to 40 pounds for distances up to 10 feet.
