Musicow is the world’s first platform to turn music copyrights into investable financial assets. We’ve launched a native mobile app powered by Security Token Offering (STO), allowing users to buy and trade fractional music rights just like stocks.

Now expanding into the U.S. market, we’re looking for a hands‑on Tech Lead who can both code and lead — someone who can build a local development team in Los Angeles, drive product growth, and turn complex financial services into intuitive user experiences.

• Lead and contribute directly to full‑stack development across backend (Node/Nest or equivalent) and web (React/Next).
• Build and ship core product features across onboarding, identity verification, investment flows, funding/deposits, and user dashboards.
• Own end‑to‑end integrations with multiple third‑party financial, compliance, and identity APIs.
• Investigate and resolve complex operational issues by analyzing logs, API responses, and event sequences across distributed systems.
• Design, build, and maintain internal tools (admin portals, dashboards, workflow automation) used by operations, compliance, finance, and support teams.
• Improve monitoring, observability, reliability, and system‑wide error handling.
• Participate in architectural decisions involving scalability, system performance, data integrity, and regulatory constraints.
• Serve as a technical partner to product, operations, and leadership, translating high‑level business and regulatory requirements into actionable engineering plans.
• Foster a culture of ownership, clarity, accountability, and cross‑functional collaboration across U.S. and international engineering groups.

• 5+ years of software development experience, including 1‑3+ years in a technical lead or leadership capacity.
• Backend:
  Node.js / NestJS or similar.
• Web:
  React / Next.js or similar.
• Experience integrating with third‑party APIs (identity, payments, financial services, custody, compliance, or similar domains).
• Experience building or maintaining production systems in consumer applications or fintech.
• Experience building reliable, high‑trust systems in regulated or security‑sensitive environments.
• Excellent communication skills, especially when working across global or distributed teams.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• Experience in fintech, payments, investments, or identity verification.
• Experience designing systems that satisfy regulatory, compliance, or audit requirements.
• Experience building internal admin tools and operational dashboards.
• Experience working within compliance‑constrained or high‑risk operational environments.
