Technical Product Manager

Overview

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are building a top talent technical product team to support Fashion Nova’s next phase of growth. We have ambitious plans to build technology platforms that will help us scale the company significantly over the coming years.

The Product Manager will work closely with our engineering teams as we evolve our Shopify based eCommerce experience to take our user experience to the next level and build data rich tools to enable internal teams to maximize their performance.

• The Technical Product Manager will direct the daily operations of the product teams, analyzing workflows, establishing priorities, developing standards, and setting deadlines.
• Create, manage, and prioritize product road map in alignment with business goals.
• Lead product execution from vision, through delivery, and iterating on next steps.
• The Technical Product Manager will review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.
• Meet with Fashion Nova’s department heads, managers, supervisors, and others to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and various business functions to deliver new products.
• Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.
• Develop and interpret Fashion Nova’s organizational goals, policies and procedures.
• Collect and analyze feedback from our customers and key stakeholders to distill into actionable requirements.
• Manage internal and external stakeholder expectations and project scope throughout the delivery process. Prepare and review operational reports and project progress reports and evaluate data processing proposals to assess feasibility and requirements.
• Lead product development ceremonies (Daily Stand, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Retros, and any Architectural Discussions).
• Measure and review data to develop improvements and build new features.
• Evaluate Fashion Nova’s technology use and needs and recommend improvements, such as hardware and software upgrades.

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related field, plus two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Technical Product Manager or related position.
• Experience must include eCommerce/Retail, Order Fulfillment, Supply Chain, Inventory Optimization Systems, leading cross functional meetings such as WBRs, QBRs and Annual Plans; and delivering on complex internal/external platform problems with high ambiguity.
