What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a hands‑on, strategic Account Director to drive client results, lead a team of junior account members, and guide performance strategy across multiple campaigns. The ideal candidate brings deep client management experience, a strong understanding of user acquisition strategies across both App and Web, and a proven track record leading growth marketing efforts.

You’ll own senior‑level relationships, oversee cross‑functional teams, and translate performance insights into actionable next steps. This role requires someone who can think both strategically and operationally, building process, driving results, and crafting compelling narratives that resonate with clients.

What You’ll Do
  • Own and grow client relationships, becoming a trusted partner to key decision‑makers and helping them achieve their business objectives
  • Support and elevate client performance conversations, including business reviews and campaign wrap‑ups, by empowering your team to lead day‑to‑day while stepping in to drive high‑level strategy across digital channels
  • Guide the creative and media planning process, ensuring integrated strategies align with client goals
  • Identify and drive client growth opportunities through upselling, cross‑selling opportunities, and long‑term planning
  • Build and mentor high‑performing teams, providing ongoing feedback, overseeing daily client comms, QA of key deliverables, and media execution
  • Serve as a senior point of contact for clients and internal teams, providing visible leadership and handling escalations as needed
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams (Search & Social, Programmatic, Data & Analytics, Creative, Research, Finance) to ensure all work ladders up to a unified vision
  • Contribute to agency operations that may cover SOWs, renegotiating contracts, team resourcing, and financial health of your accounts
What You’ll Bring
  • 8+ years’ experience in digital media, preferably in an agency setting
  • Deep knowledge of performance platforms (Google, Meta, Tik Tok, Programmatic, etc.) and a solid understanding of full‑funnel planning
  • Proven success managing large, multi‑channel accounts and cross‑functional teams
  • Hands‑on experience with new client onboarding and building from the ground up (process, client deliverables, etc.)
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, with experience liaising with clients at senior level
  • Demonstrable experience growing revenues and effectively managing budgets/client profitability
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with mobile performance campaigns and MMPs is a plus
  • An eye for good creative and how it connects to performance media
  • BONUS: you’re tuned into trends and cultural moments and can translate those into brand opportunities
What You’ll Get
  • Competitive benefits package, including 20 vacation days and 401(k) match
  • Summer Fridays: we aim to stop working at 3:00 pm on Fridays from Memorial Day to Labor Day
  • Holiday Break: 11 annual bank holidays, plus Christmas to New Year’s Eve
  • Flexible working and WFH opportunities:
Two days per week in the NY office required
  • Annual pay reviews
  • Up to 100% coverage for health benefits
  • All candidates must have the ability to work in the US; we are unable to sponsor any work visas for this role
Flexible Working and WFH Opportunities
  • New York:
Two days per week in the NY office required
  • Los Angeles:
Fully remote with option to work from a shared office space if preferred. Occasional in‑person meetups for local team members to collaborate and connect.
