LVN​/LPN – Ambulatory Care​/Clinic​/Outpatient

Job Summary:

An outpatient LVN is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced clinic setting. This role involves performing clinical tasks, supporting patient flow, and ensuring compliance with protocols and certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Administer IVs, draw blood, and perform phlebotomy with skill and precision.
• Provide immunizations, including flu vaccines, adhering to protocols with no declinations or exemptions allowed.
• Support patient care activities and assist healthcare providers during exams and procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of clinical procedures and patient information.
• Adhere to infection control standards and ensure safety protocols are followed consistently.
• Float to different clinic locations as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid California LVN license with active status at the time of submission.
• Hold BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of outpatient clinical experience.
• Skilled in IV placement and blood withdrawal procedures.
• Be flexible to float across multiple locations as required.
• Complete background checks and provide two recent references from supervisory colleagues.
