Description:
The Registered Nurse will provide care to oncology patients.
Experience in outpatient oncology is essential.
The position requires the ability to manage chemotherapy and related treatments.
Candidates should be skilled in accessing and managing ports.
Knowledge of immunotherapy, medication administration, and patient education is critical.
The nurse will handle patient care coordination and support families.
Experience with charting systems is preferred.
The nurse should be familiar with protocols for sepsis and chemotherapy monitoring.
Critical thinking skills and the ability to recognize abnormal lab values are necessary.
Travelers may float to sister facilities based on needs.
The nurse is expected to maintain professionalism and effective communication.
