Your Day To Day- Support day‑to‑day supply chain activities including data analysis, reporting, supplier coordination, and inventory management, while gaining hands‑on experience with ERP/MRP systems and cross‑functional collaboration.
Contribute to cost savings, supplier performance, and operational efficiency from day one.
Cross‑Functional ExposureWork with engineering, manufacturing, finance, and supply chain leadership daily.
Learning & InnovationGet hands‑on experience with automation, ERP/MRP systems, and data analysis while exploring new tools like AI.
Strategic Planning & ForecastingSupport the conversion of production schedules and demand forecasts into material requirements, track and analyze KPIs, and help define procurement plans to meet demand.
Supplier Partnerships & NegotiationCollaborate with senior team members on supplier communication and performance reviews, learn the basics of supplier negotiation, contract terms, and cost tracking (PPV), and support efforts to build positive, professional supplier relationships.
High‑Impact Projects & AutomationHelp maintain and improve shortage reports for better visibility of material risks, contribute to projects exploring automation and digitization in procurement, and participate in analysis of outsourcing/in sourcing opportunities.
Cross‑Functional CollaborationWork alongside engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to ensure materials are available on time, and present data‑driven insights and updates to managers and team leaders.
Procurement & ComplianceLearn the fundamentals of procurement regulations (FAR/DFARS) and company compliance processes, support documentation for defense‑related and ITAR‑controlled purchases, and assist with supplier compliance checks under guidance from senior staff.
Additional dutiesPerform other duties as needed and assigned.
Required- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable business decisions.
- Strong bias for action and sense of urgency.
- Potential access to technology controlled under ITAR or EAR; must be a “U.S. Person” as defined.
- No visa sponsorship.
- Professional experience in supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, or engineering with demonstrated results in strategic initiatives.
- Negotiation experience and confidence in working with suppliers on cost, terms, and process improvement.
- Strong skills in Excel, basic understanding of ERP/MRP systems (Oracle preferred) and passion for automation and digital transformation.
- Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, DD254, and ITAR requirements.
Salary Range: $71,135–$110,000 per year
